Brought to life through bold and sweeping brush strokes, the dynamic composition of the horse's movement mirrors an internal shift: the moment of exuberant joy immediately following the release of imprisoning pain. The horse is captured mid-prance, bridging the gap between her raw emotion and her physical form. The pops of color give a sense of joyful hope and wonder. Painting her allowed me to express a bold leap of faith I've been taking in my life recently. She represents letting go of the old, surrendering, and stepping into the new. She is open-handed, and she is freed from the pain of this world. In her movement, I see her dancing. I see her crying out, "nothing will hold me back from what is meant for me!" The painting invites the viewer to experience their own sense of freedom and redemption.
