An Actias luna (Luna Moth) caterpillar looks into the future to see itself soaring across a silver sky. The caterpillar is an ink drawing that was A trio of pink King Protea flowers offset the vibrant green Luna Moth. There are swirls of pink, silver, and green throughout the background.
Inspiration
Transformation was a big theme during my life when I made this piece. Caterpillars turning into beautiful butterflies and moths appealed greatly to me at the time. Even the Protea flowers I chose represent change and transformation.
