This series of fish paintings, inspired by the fleeting nature of memory, explores themes of connection, impermanence, and resilience. The fish, with their vibrant colors and delicate movements, symbolize the temporary nature of life's challenges—an idea that feels especially resonant in today’s fast-paced world. Just as fish are said to have a 10-second memory, these paintings serve as a reminder that our worries and struggles are often just as brief when viewed in the grander scheme of life. Each piece reflects a moment of grace and harmony within the currents of existence, encouraging viewers to embrace life’s ebbs and flows with peace and acceptance. Submitting this series for the small-scale show holds special meaning for me because it allows these ideas to be shared with a wider audience. In creating these pieces, I sought to bring beauty and reflection into small, intimate works that invite connection and contemplation.
