This painting began with a wild and free abstract. I was inspired by urban colors and textures. I always choose a figure or portrait to add to my abstract pieces. She is a badass in her suit and tennies, ready to get to work! My favorite part of this piece is the wall behind her. The pattern, shape and oil paint really gives it a fun dimension and depth.
Inspiration
"I will do it" was born as I embraced the hard work ahead of me. I was embracing that even our passions come with hard work and pushing through a little pain. Following my passion is so very fun, but I also must do the parts that are not in order to get me where I want to go. This painting is made to inspire another boss person to get after it and do the hard work. I wrote at the bottom "Sometimes the work has to get done. And I am going to do it.
