Next Generation

"Next Generation", was inspired by the beautiful wild horses of Nevada that I've had the opportunity to witness over the years during my travels. I woke up one morning with a 'vision' of this piece - imagining a stallion on a crest of a hill with his family below him. The building clouds behind him are so typical of the open skies and landscape there - these animals are out in the elements year round without much cover. The plight of the wild horses remains an ongoing controversy and concern... there is something about a wild horse running free that truly stirs the soul.
