Music's Heartbeat

I created Music’s Heartbeat from the perspective of the drummer to give the viewer the sense of actually joining in and playing the instrument. I used quick, fast abstract marks in the background to portray the joy it must be to beat on the drums and provide the heartbeat to any song.

Inspiration
When deciding on which instruments to add to my collection the drums where definitely on the top of my list. No other instrument uses the strength and endurance of the musician to create such a powerful sound like the percussion instruments. Drummers always look like they are having so much fun providing music’s heartbeat.
