This painting indicates the Women Power, which springs up the numerous potential of women working together. Understanding, compassion, assistance are some of their strong characteristics that can make the world a better place.
The symbology calls us to go deeper into the sea of our minds, explore the part where our intuition is the guide and let ourselves get drown in our own mysteries. That part where beauty and our senses are enlightened. Mermaids also represent the authentic and fierce side of our emotions, which are always in constant movement, just like the sea.
Inspiration:
Inspired by the Three Graces who are dancing in a circle depicted on “Spring” (Primavera) of Botticelli. The Three Graces are the three daughters of Zeus (Aglaia -has the gift of elegance, Euphrosyne-has the gift of mirth and Thalia-has the gift of youth and beauty). Together, they constitute an ideal of beauty and grace.
