Fierceone

This girl is on fire! She is bold, confident, not going to take no as an answer. She is putting the pieces of her puzzle together and taking the world by storm. Her power is in her passion and her passion cannot be taken away. I believe she is someone out there who is ready to embody the truth of who she is inside in full. This painting is the daily reminder.

Inspiration
I was inspired by pattern and new ways to incorporate pattern into my figures. I am a little bit obsessed with checkers and I love how her checkered shirt turned out. I love the juxtaposition of flat 2D looking areas combined with more depth and detail in the face.
