Still Watching

By: Beth Loulan

“Still Watching” captures a quiet moment of patient observation along the coast. The heron’s steady gaze reflects the strength found in pausing and trusting that the way forward will become clear. Through luminous color and expressive marks, the painting invites the viewer into that watchful stillness—because sometimes hope begins before anything appears to change.
