Lazy Afternoons

Rest your eyes and allow your mind to wander by the gardens. Lose yourself in the lingering scent of lavender. Travel over the wind blown grass, past the sleeping river, nearer the bed of violets. Search for me in the simplicity of the serene. Where the tulips blossom, your subconscious will meet mine once more. Inspiration for the painting: In moments where I find myself sinking into the earth and enveloped by the scents of nature while I daydream. I wanted to share what I feel when I catch my mind searching for memories of the past.
