Every trip to Greece or Italy was capped off with a trip to their many showrooms throughout Europe.
Elli felt each piece she wore made her feel regal and inspired to create when sitting in front of a blank canvas or hosting a gallery event. In 2024 fate made the introduction between Elli and the Dimitrios family by way of a robbery. While hosting an art retreat in Italy Elli had a bag stolen from her car containing all of her best jewelry she had collected over the years! In an effort to buy her collection back piece by piece she was put in touch with Vassilis, part of the founding family and head designer. Through conversation Elli found that despite the many shops, galleries, and boutiques throughout Europe, in the U.S. their collections were only available in Beverly Hills. We are honored to be their flagship location in Florida and feel their art to wear elevates our gallery by inspiring all of the collectors who try Dimitrios on for themselves!

About the Artist
Since 1990, Dimitrios Kapsaskis, a passionate art collector, founded the first family jewelry workshop in Athens. Dedicated, highly skilled silversmiths create handmade gold and silver jewelry, inspired by the glorious Greek jewelry tradition that counts more than 2500 years of history, from the Minoan times to Alexander the Great and Byzantium.
Brilliant, delicate designs with elaborate motifs, processed with precision in their smallest detail, forge the identity of Dimitrios jewelry, establishing its iconic character, easily recognizable in all collections.
Design is now lead by Vassilis Kapsaskis, who grew up in the family silversmithing workshop. From a young age, he was fascinated by the magical process of transforming raw materials into beautiful creations, working with the finest stones and 22k gold. His youthful imagination is a kaleidoscope that constantly composes fascinating shapes and patterns.
In 2008, he completed his studies in jewelry design and manufacturing with distinction and has helped lead the brand into the hearts of collectors all over the world, gaining international fame and recognition after winning the JCK Jeweler's Best Design award in 2019.
Maintaining the centuries-old tradition of silversmithing, Dimitrios creations emerge through a complex step-by-step process. Patience and passion are two of the fundamental qualities that characterize their works of art as each piece, with its smallest details, are designed exclusively by hand. After many years of building her own collection, Elli Milan met with the family to partner with Milan Art Gallery to bring their designs from Europe right here to Sarasota!
